We all have the type of car we’d like to buy if we ever make it big, but some cars are just so incredibly expensive that we don’t know how anyone could ever afford them. They are the cars that we lust over hopelessly, jealous of the lucky few who actually get to drive them. If you ever end up in one of these cars, don’t forget your friends at South East Vehicle Valeting.
Bugatti Veyron – £1,535,000
The Bugatti Veyron is one of the fastest cars in the world, and it’s certainly one of the most expensive. The acceleration is phenomenal. Sitting in one of these beauties you can go from 0-60 in a staggering 2.4 seconds. If you kept your feet on the floor you could be at 150 mph in 10 seconds, and if you had the stomach for it (and a long test track) in less than a minute you could be hurtling along the Earth at a speed of 245 mph. Wow.
Aston Martin One 77 – £900,000
There are lots of reasons to own an Aston Martin but the most powerful one is no doubt at the forefront of your mind right now: James Bond drives an Aston Martin. There’s nothing cooler than driving James Bond’s car.
This Aston Martin is actually better than the one Bond drives. It has an incredible sleek style, and as you might expect it goes like the clappers. It’s certainly not cheap though: at £900k you might be better off just buying a tux and a martini.
Lambourgini Aventador – £201,000
The Aventador is the fastest car that Lambourgini have ever made. And they’ve made a lot of fast cars. The styling is extreme. It definitely makes a statement. It’s not a car for someone who likes to blend in. Of course, being Lambourgini, this car isn’t just about looks. It has an incredible, precision designed engine that sits on the very cutting edge of technology.
McLaren F1 – £540,000
The McLaren F1 needs no introduction. It’s probably the most famous car in this list, partly because it held the title of “world’s fastest car” for so many years. As well as being expensive, this car is also extremely rare. Only 106 of these vehicles were produced over six years of production. That’s because engineering a piece of equipment like this is such a mammoth task. That’s literally as fast as they could make them.
Zenvo ST1 – £1,115,000
Zenvo isn’t a household name, but this Danish manufacturer has become extremely well known in the performance car world. The ST1 is their finest machine. The design is unique, with a grille that is said to look like an angry face, and the mechanics are truly gold standard. It has a 7 Liter V8 engine with both a supercharger and a turbo. It can produce an almighty 1108 BHP, which is channeled into an incredible 1430 BH of torque. This is a truly powerful machine, at a truly staggering price tag.
